Kids and Tech: Exploring a World of Possibilities Hack Jam @Mozilla Toronto |
A semi-unstructured, collaborative,
creativity-inspiring experience for
youth.
There were seven activity stations set up around Mozilla's Community Space:
- Web Page Maker presented by Mozilla and Story Planet
- Toy Hacking presented by Maker Kids & the Textile Museum
- Awesome Animations presented by TIFF
- Popcorn Maker presented by Mozilla
- Little Big City presented by TVO Kids
- Paper Prototyping presented by Apphaus Design & Gallery 1313
- Creating Games with Scratch presented by Gamercamp Jr
- Documentation Station presented by the Toronto Public Library
- Parent Zone feat: Mark Surman, the Executive Director of the Mozilla Foundation, speaking about why he thinks we need a "scouting movement for the web" and what Mozilla is doing about it
