I worked so hard all day long yesterday to finish up some projects before Thanksgiving. I forgot all about taking a photo until about 11:45 p.m. Snapped this with my old point and shoot and then worked for a few more hours.

The majority of the day was spent finishing up holiday photo card designs. I usually do these only for my friends, but if any of you are interested in this type of thing, and would like a less mass market design, I'd be happy to make some for you, too :) The designs can be viewed here.

keep yourself warm

I had to force myself out of the house yesterday because I'd made an appointment before I got sick to get my hair cut. Loaded up on cold meds, got bundled up and, in the end, I'm glad I went. My hair is so much easier to deal with now. Might even take a picture of it once I'm feeling better :P

I have been living in this wonderful ruffly scarf since receiving it as a gift three weeks ago. It somehow goes with everything and is SO incredibly soft and comfy. Love!

breakfast blackberries

I saw a box of blackberries at the store and was seized by the sudden desire to eat them then and there.

Does this ever happen to you? You stumble upon exactly what you were looking for when you didn't even know you were looking for it? Maybe I just miss summer.

These weren't super sweet in-season berries, but they were still wonderful in my oatmeal with brown sugar, cinnamon and candied walnuts.

edamame siu mai

Homemade miso soup and dumplings stuffed with shrimp and edamame for lunch. The siu mai wasn't bad for something out of the frozen foods department, but it would be great to learn how to make them myself.
