Beakers

Beakers by Move The Clouds.
The assignment: "circles." I snuck into the science teachers' lounge and arranged these on a table, then snapped. I don't think it turned out very well. I feel like there should be more beakers, or something. Hmm...

this one is actually pretty good, as is the one looking down at the stair railings and the line of lockers but they all lack good contrast. Not sure if it's your exposure, developing, or printing. It's better to fix at the start of the process but here's something you can do in photoshop to help...not knowing which version you're using..

Go to Image - Apply Image and set the mode to Multiply and then experiment with different opacity percentage.

You can also go to Image-Adjust-Levels and move the left slider on the top bar to 50. Move the top right slider to 200 and see the difference. You will probably lose detail, but you can play with the sliders and see the effect.

Instead of Sharpening, go to Filter - Sharpen - Unsharp Mask and start with an Amount of 35 and Pixels of 1.8 and experiment.

Hope this helps. keep practicing, keep learning.

Which would be an honour since they are technically conical flasks.
