Me and Melanie Moore, the 2011 winner of So You Think You Can Dance. The tour kicked off Saturday night in Orlando Fl, and I was fortunate enough to get to meet the cast before the show. Melanie is a winner in so many ways. When she dances, she literally can take your breath away. When she smiles, she instantly overflows your heart with joy. Thank you SYTYCD for a wonderful show. The entire cast was wonderful!!

For anyone who wondered if I had indeed fallen off the edge of the planet, the answer is not yet.

Gospel music favorites performed at the Bradenton Municipal Auditorium Thursday night. I was in the balcony even with the stage so my photo ops were limited, but the music was WONDERFUL! Best of luck and safe travels to this family as they travel the world spreading their musical message. BTW, I saw them again last night, and they were kind enough to autograph this picture for me. They are the first gospel group on my "wall of fame" and Kim and Connie are the first females included. There is still a spot reserved for Mary Chapin Carpenter. LOL

The two weeks leading up to Thanksgiving were extraordinary for me. I got to see Lyle and His Large Band 4 times. Thanks to a new friend and extremely nice person, I was able to actually have a meet and greet with my music heroes. Life is good and I have much to be thankful for.

One of the highlights of the show (for me anyway) has always been "You Can't Resist It" John Hagen does a cello solo that will rock your socks off.
