Waterfall Garden
In the woods behind this rural property's backyard, there is an unique microclimate. We created a woodland garden by selecting the best natural features and enhancing them with perennial and shrub plantings. We installed a mulch path that to improve access. In this picture, taken standing on the edge of the backyard, you can see the bottom of the path as it ends at the bridge that crosses the stream. Below the ferns in the foreground, you can see a planting of astilbe on a slightly raised berm which is surrounded with plantings of primula.
