02/17/2012: Camellia #creative366project
I had a walk in the evening. The air was very chilly, but the sunlight was very warm. I took a different route for the first time on the way to the nearby park. Halfway there, I saw a little camellia tree. The direct sunlight was illuminating one of the flowers. It was beautiful. I tried to capture it but realized I had a 7-14mm on my camera. I changed it to a 50mm, but it didn't get close enough. I changed the lens again to a 85mm. The direct sunlight had gone by this time, but the pink flower looks even better without it. I was so satisfied that I didn't shoot any photo later in the walk, fully enjoying the view of the town full of morning sunlight with my bare eyes, not through the view finder.
