We haven't made it up to Hermit Island yet (sigh) but I felt like thanking mom & Carl with a lobster feast. It was very good :-)

Mom made the salad, and it was a nice simple crisp green salad with those tomatoes, indeed precious. As you know I got pitifully few, but I did take the meager recent harvest and I roasted them until they were all toasty and charred in spots, and those I bagged and froze (three portions of a generous cup or so), and they'll be a little reminder of summer come snowy mid-winter.

Speaking of winter, how is yours coming along?
