7 chicken hearts

I made a small roast chicken for dinner last night, and the little packet of innards contained SEVEN beautiful hearts AND a liver. I was in offal heaven. I rendered a bit of the chicken fat in a frying pan, and then quickly seared the liver & hearts, and then a sprinkling of vanilla salt. Perfect cook's treat while the bird roasted.
