Like a good pair of Levi's, old hearts, and the heels of other peoples shoes you decided to walk miles in.

But everyone knows walking miles in others shoes leaves your shoes looking new with no interesting stories to attach them to.

Well fuck that...

You can keep your "others" memories, i'll wear my shoes deep into my casket when they bury me.

Torn, tatterd, and twisted my shoes are my genesis...

And yours are just cushioning for your fall.

Worn, flattend, and blisterd my feet may be ugly...

But I knew when to take my shoes off.
