Battery Recycling

So far, our battery recycling program at work has collected nearly 500 batteries. :) This is from the latest batch.

To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and

I've been taking them to our local Ikea -- they've got a big recycling kiosk that takes all the standard items, plus batteries and CFLs. I've been told that Radio Shack branches also take batteries for recycling, but if given the choice between visiting Ikea and Radio Shack, I'll take the former. :-) (You probably already know about Earth911's directory for the U.S., but it's a great resource. It's how I found out about the Ikea dropoff site.)
