      Thanks friends for all your lovely and enthusiastic comments! This is a pic that I really enjoyed taking so I'm glad you like how it turned out. I loved how the sun and shadows caught in the folds of the fabric as the wind opened it up.

      @ Lasadh: So they tell me! :o) I'd not seen it done before, but it sure made a lot of sense out there. Ben's turban being white was the perfect choice as it stood out so strongly against the blue and orange...

      @ Ramperto & algo: Ben's wearing a turban of about 4 metres- that's the standard length they generally sell to tourists passing through. A turban worn daily by a Tuareg (and yes, they wear them all the time) would never be any shorter. Many will be longer, and a ceremonial turban might be six or seven metres. My own turban is four metres, and I've found it inadequate at times when you have to cover yourself up (for example in a sandstorm!) :o)
