Into Connemara

Into Connemara by Jim Moran.
The roads in Ireland have yellow dashed lines on the kerbside, which makes it appear different to the roads in the UK. I kinda like it.

Works well this shot even if you can't get away from yellow lines.

Thanks Jackie - yes, the roads are pretty quiet round here (and this is the edge anyway). The yellow dashed lines remind me of Ireland.

Nice viewpoint, the yellow lines certainly add a dash of colour and make a good lead-in to the scene. Good capture.

do you know what one yellow line on the side of the road in Ireland means?
it means you can't park there at all.
and do you know what two yellow lines mean?
you can't park there at all at all.

lovely colours in this one Jim, i like the contrast between the blurry detail of the v close tarmac, and the vastness of the distant mountains.

the perspective is great, but in landscapes i would prefer a horizont which doesn't split the photo in the middle. that does the photo look very "static".
