Milkweed Mother

This set is dedicated to all those mothers and fathers who have raised their children to adulthood and let them fly ...

And what about people who for whatever reason cannot or do not have children? We can be parents without bearing children, in the strict sense of the word. I believe that for some, what we give birth to might be our creative endeavors or something else that requires striving, sometimes sacrifice and always a piece of our true selves. -- and that whatever is born from us we must eventually give to the wide, wide world if we are to come full circle and live a fertile life.

Also dedicated to those who have embarked on the second half of their lives, in hopes they find fullfillment, fruition and wisdom, spiritual seeking and renewed love of life.

This is for those parents who have fledged their children from the nest ... who have let go of the ones they love the most.
