I love it! Total delightful and completely
frameable. It would look great in my kitchen
(where I never cook, but often bring home ...
sushi!)

Flute - oops somehow the account was set to
not allow downloads except to family &
friends. I changed it so you should be able
to get the alrger size. Glad you both like
this -- it was something I did in my journal
to hand out at my son's Thesis defense (long
story later)

Actually, I think I might be the one person
on the planet who doesn't like Sushi ... but
I like your sketchbook! If I'm passing
Montana sometime, I might drop in to see your
sketchbook ... lol

@Anzharis, glad you think it's funny --
before you commented, I hadn't really seen
this as a humorous piece, but now that you
say that (and I went back to read what I had
written on the sushi rolling instructions) I
see what you mean. Well, that's just my
everyday humor.
Crazyladybugg, Handsomeboy, Aibii and
Anzharis, thanks for your comments! I
appreciate knowing why people are faving this
one. heheh. ;-)

This is nice. It reminds me (a lot) of Molly
Katzen's instructions on breadmaking in the
Enchanted Broccoli Forest. Seen it? Can't
wait to make Sushi :)

Love all of your sketchbook drawings. A lot.
Especially this one. In fact, I linked to it
in a post about sushi art on my blog
madeinmississippi.blogspot.com
Cheers from Mississippi!

Hi there!
I noticed you were using a moleskin
sketchbook. Just wondered how you were able
to get that nice white tone in your sketches!
Was it watercolor, acrylic, colored pencil,
or some other material else I'm not aware of?
I bought a "normal" white-page
sketchbook, and I've been using that for the
past week or so... but I have to admit,
things just aren't the same without my
moleskine! I might have to go buy another...
Beautiful work, by the way. It's very
inspiring and I want to experiment even more
with art materials! :D

thank you to everyone who has faved this
drawing as well as commented.
Kerstin, thank you for the link in your
blog post -- I like your sushi drawing much
better than mine, lol :oD
Nancy, sorry it has taken me a while to
answer your question. To get the white tone
in my (yellowish) moleskine sketchbook, I
used a small bottle of opaque white ink that
I carry with my sketchbook and pens. Most
often, I put the white ink down first, but
sometimes I lay it in after I get the initial
sketch half completed.
