So very fine, Steve. There's a sense of
transparent color - watercolor - in this
image; even the buildings and sand are liquid
(and alive).

Steve! What a wonderful, wonderful shot. In
fact, we liked it so well that we put it on
the front page of Utata as today's blogged image. Congrats!

Blogged on Utata, Spotlighted on Utata...a
double dose of goodness. And well deserved.
This is a lovely, haunting image.

Congrats on the synchronicity! This is a
beautiful image. The pebble-textures and the
graphic personality of the shacks are so
appealing. And that sky... that is pure
poetry.

Wow, this is great. I wish I could elaborate
more, but alas, the old cliche about pictures
and words is apt enough in this case.

Very nice. Interesting that we both have
Hayling Island beach hut photos from the same
day in explore (this is a little nearer the
top than mine!)

with reluctance, and a heavy heart, I declare
this one of the best photos I've ever seen.
I was pondering launching a group that
would nominate an image representing the
hypothetical "only image you would ever
see for the rest of your life" kind of
thing. May never have done it, but I have at
least found a very likely pick.
thanks

Truly magnificent work. This is the kind
image that doesn't just show a place but
takes you there. Well done.

Gorgeous shot. Love the boldness of the blues
and the light and the sky of course.
Everything is really spot on. Really stunning
shot :-)

Wonderful, wonderful shot! The light, tones,
are just perfect. I love that it is not
really bright but quite dramatic.

I manage a seaside network conecting
regeneration practitioners and would love to
use this on our website. It's a great picture
and really sums up the contrast of issues
that towns by the sea suffer from!
