I'm all in favour of them. Rather that than speed bumps.

And I reckon persistent offenders ought to have their licence changed so they can only drive vehicles fitted with an automatic speed limiter. For life.

Didn't ask, but HEY! at least the creditted me, which is more than can be said for the Evening Standard's rip off of Ben Patio and Dave Gorman.

That camera has, to my knowledge, never been vandalised. It's one of the most densely cameratedified stretches of road in the UK (it was #1 at one point), but I don't mind.

The brother-in-law has been done by this camera, as has my best friend. They were both speeding at the time. What more can I say? It does it's job.

And FWIW, the speed limit is a rule. People should learn to stick to the rules. If they disagree, then they can ask the people who make the rules, not just break them as if they are above the law. They remind me of a bunch of kids playing monopoly who move 8 squares when they rolled 7, just to avoid the go-to-jail square.

I'd rather have cameras than speed bumps, any day of the week. Provided the speed limit is clearly marked, they shouldn't be an issue.
