Imperfections in the photograph when viewed Large make the Shrine at Tinos appear starlit. It was taken in bright sunshine. I'm either going to switch back to my old 5 pound Nikon and extended lens or go digital. I'm not happy with the small 35mm I'm using now. Just got tired of lugging all that gear around. I'll be 68 in February and the arthritis doesn't help. Exactly why the sky is such a dark blue I'm not sure of either. / Joe

So I broke down and bought a new camera on Friday. I ended up going with the Canon Rebel XT (following in your footsteps). Mentally it seemed the best bang for the buck. Man am I excited. Now I will have a hope of doing work half as good as yours...lol
