Thanks everyone, you are soo kind! I really enjoyed this picture also that I used it at the top of my new blog that I put together when flickr was down the other day monarch.blog.com .
@allezany - tell me about it, this morning got rained out - it better get sunny again here soon!
@hippobosca - I am starting to realize that they are commonly photographed! This year it seems like everywhere I go, I see them around! This is me trying to be a little more creative with the monarch than just shooting it like I normally do!
@neesflynn the eggs can be hard to find but I typically just find the caterpillars and go from there! Good luck and take some picture!
