This little guy showed up just in time for me to get a shot in before the deadline for 2011. My journey with this challenge began with a shot of a bluebird, so I thought it would be fitting to end the year with one as well. Bluebirds often depict the epitome of happiness, and, no matter what is going on in your life, happiness can be found in many forms. Life doesn't have to be perfect to be good. Happy New Year to all. Looking forward to another great challenge for 2012.

Our mantel, decked in sparkly snowflakes, glitter pinecones, twinkle lights and snowman hats. The sign, painted on an antique door panel reads: " Snowflakes Are Kisses From Heaven", which is, of course, true!

Garden Lights, Holiday Nights show at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens

Center and to the right- an Allee of Crepe Myrtle Trees strung with Teal, Blue and White lights. To the left is the Chihuly Fountain that sits in the Parterre Garden in front of the Conservatory, surrounded by green lights. And the background is a bit of the Atlanta Skyline at sunset. This is the first year for this new light display, and throughout the gardens, the displays are magical!
