back to the drawing board

trying to get a working pattern together for some leg warmers for Elizabeth before fall. These are made from a thrifted tee. I want them to reach above her chubby knees. These were a bit too tight.
I think she feels all "Flashdance" in them, though.
Oh, and I broke my sewing machine while making these--darn knits! I sewed this one up by hand.
