This image was a real pain to process - I need to stop taking photographs in the half light with the expectation that they'll have a full tonal range. Thats the bizarre thing about the human eye. Its an entirely subjective window into the world as the signals are all processed and interpreted according to the brain's bias.
My subjective interpretation fills in a lot of blanks - something the humble camera does not. So when it comes to processing - i want to share the image as I subjectively saw it; Because the reality is actually pretty drab.
