Sometimes picking up a guitar is the only way to pass the time. This little sucker has been with me for over a decade now. Scratched and battered it still has a beautiful warm tone. Turns out the brand Suzuki ain't bad either - They've been around since 1887, and also make buttery sweet violins. Not that i really like violins - They're pretty vile.
Anyways, the guitar arrived in my room as a gift from my mum. She'd been hunting around yard sales, and happened to come across this battered old guitar. Turns out it hadn't been used for years, and was being sold sans strings. For all that mum bought it for $5... And i've been forgetting how to play it ever since.
Don't know how to play anyone elses music, so i just noodle about with
my own things.
Thats what you get for being a drummer and not reading music :P

Outstanding shot! The guitar looks to have a lot of stories in it. I've learned that the brand or price of a guitar doesn't matter, it's what you make of it. Same with cameras.
Is that your hand in the pic or did you shoot someone else with it?

Thanks - That guitar has been kicking around for a long time now. It is my hand in the pic - shot with a bit of self timer magic. Took quite a few frames to guess the focal point - but thats f1.8.
Cameras are a funny business. If I'm perfectly honestly i can't pick much difference between lens - Even shooting nikon pro ED glass... As long as it focus fast I'm a happy camper.
