just bought this myself.

wendelkin's essay on metabolism is among the best I've seen on the subject. sadly, haven't really looked at the rest.

Actually, they're all pretty good. Lobsinger's Cedric Price piece, of course, is useful for me. But check out your Felicity Scott, a total rockstar in my book, on Bernard Rudofsky...

...for Monique Eleb's article on ATBAT-Afrique. Her book on Casablanca is also amazing.

I'm surprised by how much I rely on Anxious Modernisms. The more I read it, the more I appreciate it for both its breadth as well as its editorial acumen -- it is really written for multiple audiences, and this is a hard thing, especially with architecture essays.
