    During audio-chat with Mike, this happen. I wanted to pull the iSight's cable out of the firewire port - and - what happen ?!?! I had the cover between fingers and cable in the port :(

      Yeah, this happened to mine as well. Shoddy apple firewire cables!

      I mended mine with a dab of superglue.

      My apple firewire iPod cable did this, and then the iSight cable did. It seems you can be unlucky and get one that isn't glued fully.

      That happened to me too. As Yo Jimbo said, a few drops of superglue did the trick and it never happened again.
