Backyard Lilli 2011

Lilli playing around in the backyard, while I photographed leaves. She jumped up on top of her playhouse and said "you could take a picture of me up here!". So, I did. I try not to bugger my kids a lot about posing and taking a lot of pictures. Instead, I keep the camera out a lot and try to keep it fun and light.

Walking Stick Insect

Came accross this beauty from the archives. This shot was taken in Maryland. I had never seen one before and have not seen one since. As I remember it, it was fairly large. What a beauty. Photographed long before I had a decent camera.
