Josh, Bryan, Ravi, and Lou at Standings

Ravi called Standings an old-man bar in the making. He was sort of right—with the preponderance of televisions, nothing for sale but beer and free pizza, and a décor of sports logos and electric trains, the bar is not exactly a place your average East Village woman would particularly like. Still, we were able to watch five baseball games at once (Red Sox just barely losing to the Orioles, Yankees getting pounded by the Devil Rays, Seattle losing, the Mets winning, and the Twins near no-hitter).

To give a sense of this bar, the ladies room was reserved exclusively for pooping.
