For some reason, for the past month or so, I have had this nagging desire to make a drawing of a big gal on a bike. I'm not sure, there's just something about the image that appeals to me. So that's how I spent my afternoon, and here she is! I think I'd like to meet this lady. She's rockin' her new pink bicycle.
Later note: so, after I put her on paper, I fell in love with this gal, and I've started drawing her all over. Here's the little narrative that goes with this one.
When Henrietta saw the rusty pink bicycle sitting in a corner of the bike shop, she fell in love instantly. She took it home, and after a bit of polish, some new cables, and a lot of sweat, it was good as new. She couldn't wait to try it out.
