Conowingo Dam - visit #2, Jan 2008

Second visit to Conowingo - I borrowed aCanon Digital Rebel from Jane for my first foray into DSLR cameras.

This photo set is mostly for me to keep track of my practice shots on this day. For highlights, check out my other set of "Bald Eagles (various)".

I also have a set from my previous visit, back in October.

Also, despite what the timestamps may say, all of these photos were taken on Jan 21, 2008 (not Jan 20).

It was pretty quiet all day (and cold - it never got above 30F), and then the generator at the dam was finally switched on at about 4:30pm, as the sunlight was fading and after everyone else had gone home. As usual, there was much more eagle activity as fish started spilling out of the generator vent, but most of the pictures from that part had much lower light.
