Brooklyn Home OfficeNotes on current projects with dry erase markers. Great for looking out the window while still partially focusing on work. Mobile post-its that are personal life related. These float around the home for shopping, errands, etc needs. Any non disposable document is safely stored down here. These shades allow for quick pulling down to block out most glare in the office while allowing plenty of light to continue working. Ikea.. and damn cheap. Track lighting for overhead illumination. Great for late night projects. 30" Apple Cinema Display Macbook Pro - this laptop backs up using timemachine & carbon copy cloner to the living room 2TB storage. From there I rely on Mozy for offsite backups. I also rely on Airfoil for controlling all audio in the house. There's a link below with a screenshot with more detail. These bookends were bent in order to fit around the window edge. Keeps books nice and tight now. My favorite part about this office - huge windows for looking out. They open up quite a bit giving you the feel you're working outside. Additional desk light for that "working a late night" illuminated desk effect. These speakers are powered via RocketFish wireless receiver in the home living room. Living room itunes is controlled via AirFoil for OSX. CanoScan LIDE 90 USB Powered Scanner for all my documents. Any paperwork gets scanned, filed away with YEP! for OSX, then shredded. Notepad for.. notes. drawings. doodles. paper airplanes. Not the most comfortable looking chair! It's actually pretty enjoyable to sit in. My aeron chair is on loan to my sister but is coming back next month. Printer tucked away; easily accessible with sliding drawer. iPod Touch Motorola HT820 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones for iTunes & Skype. Logitech wireless mouse. I don't really enjoy using apples mice. I like the notes on the window!!! rain laptop stand; matches the apple cinema display In the process of adding 20% tint which will be removable during the colder months. Apple Goodies Bill/Mailing Kit - checkbook, stamps, envelopes, etc. ![]() My home office in Brooklyn. At night you see the Manhattan skyline lit up which is a great view to daydream (or is it nightdream?) at. I like to keep things simple and clean.
This photo has notes. Move your mouse over the photo to see them.
