The end of a year in photos, my sincere thanks to every single person who was involved in this project in some way or the other. Either by modelling for it, or helping with the photos or giving ideas and inspiration.
Strobist Info - One 430EX behind me at 1/8 power via sync cord. The
white thing you see below my face was the plastic packet keeping the
flash dry. The photo was taking in pouring ankle deep rain. My mom was
kind enough to hold an umbrella over the camera and herself. The cable
was running through the water to the flash. Camera was triggered with
wireless Ebay shutter remote.
I put both the tripods ready in a dry place before entering the rain.
The sync cable did loosen once and feel in the water which caused the
flash to trigger randomly. Even though the entire shoot lasted only
about 5 minutes, it was probably one of the most emotional self
portraits that I've ever shot simply because it was the last photo of
the project.
