Shot a few minutes ago (12:00am) out the window of my hotel room. Camera sitting on a chair, which was propped up against the window. Lights out of course.
So which do you prefer -- nighttime (this) or early morning (next)?
Camera: Canon 20d
Focal Length: 24mm
Type: Raw (normal) color
Exposure: f5.6 @ 4sec
ISO:200
Custom White Balance

Nice shot of the lipstick building. I've worked there - for about a year.

I prefer this one. The strange lighting makes it appear to be a model..!

You setted iso/200.
Is it the best to keep high speed at night?
JMichaelSullivan 88 months ago | reply
ISO 200 on my Canon 20d is not very "noisy", so I feel comfortable shooting at that speed. Given that this picture was going to be taken while still (i.e. not handheld) the exposure time wouldn't matter that much so I did not feel compelled to push the speed.
If I were out walking around without a tripod, then yes, I would push the speed to 400, 800, or even 1600

This nicely composed photo would make a good Jigsaw puzzle - not just an appealing image, but would also be a challenging puzzle. Please add this photo to Jigsaw Shots
