The story itself is older. ![]() The English papers couldn't be certain that Obama had won when they went to press, which led to some very contorted front-page stories, given that for some reason the stories are written as if your only source of information is the newspaper itself. (The Guardian's headline is that of the 3am edition, by which time the outcome was known. The story itself appears unchanged though.) I don't know why the papers try to pretend you don't have other sources of news. It's 2008, damn it. They could even direct you to their own websites...
