Frank - that's funny. Thanks! I've shot this sign a million times, and this is one of the few interesting results. One night I got a tripod set up in the parking lot, which was thankfully empty of cars, and right as I got it set, the lights went out -- closing time! Arg...

Nice shot...I really like how the lights look like they are melting. I too have been thinking about a shot of the Highland Park Diner. I've always wanted to do a "what if hopper met waits" sort of photo, but have yet to pull it off. What an elusive location....
