I know pictures like this are a dime a dozen, but I always liked the look of the Metro stations. The barrel vault, the lights, the colors, the bustle...

the lighting towards the end of the station is cool. Next time setup the tripod for a longer exposure :) (this assumes security will let you)

Thanks all. Dan, I agree the lighting is great, especially the subtle color variation on the ceiling. A tripod would have been good -- this was at 1/13 of a second, about my limit for handholding!
The trains are both moving, btw, one each direction. The left one's blur is more visible than the right's, thanks to the nice lady on the escalator.

i miss the metro soooo much - been a wee bit more then a year since ive been back here.... *sigh*
