"Girl with a Pearl Earring"

THIS PORTRAIT IS A REPRODUCTION OF A PRINTED PAINTING. It´s not any of my work.

Featured in a screenplay on TV, a biography of Johannes Vermeer and the origin of his painting "Girl with the Pearl Earring".
Also available as a novel written by Tracy Chevalier, which I can highly recommend reading if you´re interested in the life of the painter, and the country and period where and when he lived.

It´s near the market hall in Covent Garden. Street musicians play and often, tourists and by-standers start getting involved: like this lady who started dancing to the tunes of Michael Jackson.
I will post a video showing her in full action next.
