• This looks like something from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (movie). - Nicky_Noodle!
  • And this could be from the Fellowship of the Ring :) - Nicky_Noodle!
  • Approximate crop of the print I sold.
  • The only thing I don't like about the photo is this tree. Otherwise, this is a great raging water shot. Good job. - elimc184

Raging Spokane Falls

Prev Next

No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow. ~an old proverb

Quite the snowpack from the long winter...quite the surge in water levels as it melts.

Explored: Highest position was #9! No front page though because it didn't reach #9 till a few days later.

I SOLD IT! A local bought a 16x24 copy of this!

My most favorited shot. Tied for my most interesting shot.

Very cool shot Mr. Y. You can really feel the motion and the power of the water combined with the storm.

The water flowing like this makes the picture to what it is, extremely good imo. Composition, more than good, and the colours are not overdone but also not too less. Great photo.

Wow! A stunning shot! I visited Spokane about a month ago and it was just a trickle.

You wouldn't be willing to send me a copy for a screensaver, would you? Amazing shot.

I like this take on the Spokane falls. I've seen so many shots of the bridges in extreme HDR, bursting with color, but you handled the tones quite nicely.
I also really like the angle you took on this (from below Anthony's?).
I've seen the bridges on either side of Canada Island photographed, but never both of them at the same time.

    Well done sir.
