Such a week I had with dad. Mom came back home to find that he turned me into Speed Racer.

It's the beginning of a new week, one that will be different. Mom is going away this week (I can't believe she is going away without me). She doesn't want me to travel in a crate in the cargo section of an airplane, and nor do I, which I did once when I was a puppy. So, until Friday, me and dad will be without her, and it's gonna be different. But when she returns, I'll be back!!!

I went on a little touring adventure this week and visited for the first time the south side of this park. Joaquin Miller, "Poet of the Sierras," lived in this place, which is today the park named after him. It overlooks the beautiful San Francisco Bay and enjoys the most glorious sunsets.

Today's Texture Tuesday theme is the Open eDition, and is to be centered around the prompt theme open. Our hearts are open, and I hope that is portrayed here. Kim Klassen's beautiful scratched texture called "wonderful magic" was applied.
