IMG_0027.JPG![]() Two ply spindle spun yarn with my golding spindle and dime for scale. This fiber spins beautifully on a spindle. There's tons of crimp, so the fibers seem to hold each other enough that the spindle doesn't get away from you, but it drafts out beautifully into a fine weight yarn.
~~~~~~~~~~~~ 182 yards, total, of 3-ply Cormo spun using the Spinning for Speed and Softness and Chain-Plying methods. Finished yarn about 13 WPI. Spun on my Schacht Matchless (El Matchador) Also about 46 yards of spindle spun 2-ply. Finished yarn is approximately 24 WPI.
