Moo Business Cards:: Photos + Ribbon

Moo Business Cards:: Photos + Ribbon by Miss JJj.
A selection of several of the moo minicards I'll be using as my new business cards. ... .
each one "altered" with the small black ribbon. I just ordered another set of cards with
more contemporary interiors and design elements .... hmmm - do we have the beginnings of a small addiction here??

I like the shape of the punch & the position – so elegant. I think Moos are better than business cards because people keep them longer. Also great for promoting events. On my homemade Moo I added fibers & they're being used for bookmarks.

I hope so (as in start of a new addiction) - these are wonderful and I also love where you have punched them.

Joy - take the leap and have some fun!
(** a bit of advice: just remember your image will be VERY cropped -
so, take care in choosing photos that give you some room to find a
"slice" :-)) )

Beate - do post some pics of your moo's: I'd love to see what you're
doing with them!

Abstractions Art - Love the idea of the bookmarks!

TwoDresses - At least this addiction doesn't involve calories!

I just learned about and ordered some moo cards yesterday...with the idea to use them as biz cards. I LOVE your idea of embellishing them first. How clever! Can't wait to get mine now.

Miss JJj  Pro User  says:

Senica - on the flickr home page there's a section for "Do More with
your Photos" : listed under that heading is a link to MOO. Just follow
the instructions and have fun!

Wow!!!!!
I'm also using these as business cards & am ordering (finally) my second lot...this time double! I looooove Moo cards!! No-one I know has seen OR heard of them so that's great as I can introduce people to them!
What you've done with them is gorgeous! I was thinking of using them as labels with products I will be selling shortly to shops (cupcake decorations) so this has given me hope that I can do that!
Your Moo cards are fantastic...now I'll have to look through your photos after seing these (you came up on the Moo Card page for ideas....)
Great work!

kbreenbo and kylie -
Thanks so much for your kind comments!
I,too, love the fact that so few people have seen these little jewels .. . .
just handing someone a plain MOO card really gets a reaction: but,
when you add a simple ribbon you know they'll keep it. I've now expanded this concept to a group of 5 cards on one ribbon. In that way
I can present people with 5 images of my design work --- - in essence,
giving them a "mini-portfolio."

I've been using them for business cards as well...for quite some time. And also as bookmarks; however, I haven't put a ribbon on them -- I will have to do that! Since I'm also an event planner, I notice when brides go to shows, that MY little moo card is on top (since it's smaller!) and the brides themselves have also told me they use my card as a bookmark since it's so small and pretty. Now I'm making moo seating cards for guests (at weddings). They will also make wonderful placecards with the couple's engagement photo on the back!

The ribbon seems a natural for your placecards and it certainly
adds an element to making your card stand out in a book or folder at a show .. . :-))
