Aging gracefully

Brume is feeling much better again. His famous purr is back! I love that sound...

On his right paw (left on the photo) you can still see the spot where the fur was shaved for the iv-drip during the teeth cleaning session.

I wanna get high, so high

My almost 15-year-old Burmese cat Brume had a really tough day today. He had to go to the vet for teeth cleaning and the extraction of 4 teeth. He was in so much pain today that he was panicky. I wasn't supposed to give him the painkillers (Metacam) until tomorrow morning, but it was unbearable to see him suffer like that. He didn't know what was happening and his entire body was then stiffened, then spasmed with pain.

The painkillers helped within 10 minutes. After a long, long day, Brume is starting to be his relaxed, cuddly self again... We say YES to painkillers.
