South Hall

South Hall by miss karen.
Built in 1873 in the Tudor style, it is the oldest building on the campus. There once was North Hall, which was built at the same time. Unfortunately, it was condemned in 1914 as a "fire hazard" to the new Doe Library next door. It was ceremonially destroyed on May 16, 1917, the only campus building to be demolished in a respectful manner.
