55 - Wrapped in clingfilm?!

Sorry if the title scared you...me in clingfilm (ceramwrap) is not a thought to be subjected to over breakfast, haha. This however, is my arm in Bepanthen nappy cream and clingfilm - the best way to keep a new tattoo clean and treated.

As you can see my elbow is now hugely swollen and quite bruised(the inner/outer elbow in the slightly brighter blue is where the work has been done), and is very, very painful - more so than having the actual tattoo done. It's all worth it in the long term...honest!!

I can't imagine it to be terrible, but since I haven't gotten one there yet, I don't know! Nevermind, I just read the other descriptions in your Ink set! I will probably avoid the inner elbow area!

I expect so long as it doesn't interfere with meal times they wont mind too much! :o) I tried sticking a pin in myself to get an idea what it is like... the pain is still driving me crazy!!! :o) I think I shoved it in too far and hit a nerve or something! :o) Best of luck. Bod8kin, it's not as bad as sticking a pin into yourself, LOL. Having a tattoo is uncomfortable, but sometimes I can almost drift off to sleep as the vibration kinda numbs the area. But on certain areas, the healing hurts more than the tattoo! When I had my back and shoulder tattooed, it was nowhere near as painful to heal as this one :-)

Hi Leanne, Hmmm. What can I say? For me there exist only two tattoo objectives. Either you don’t do it at all (like me) or you do a masterpiece (like you).
I see too many with only a little Chinese or other culture symbol tattoo on their arm or lower back. This is more an "all people I know do it, so I have to do it" thing. Then I like your statement better. Looking forward to see the final artwork!

yes sorry for the misunderstanding - when I say 'very bloody painful' it's just a figure of speech here in the UK. I don't mean anything to do with blood or bleeding :-)
