      the picture isnt actually moving but our eyes see it that way. your brain wants to believe its moving when its not. if you just look at the picture, scanning, it appears to be flowing but its not. when you put all of your focus into one spot and stay concentrated on that one spot, youl will see it stops moving. then, just to make sure, close your eyes and look again. the outcome will be the same. if you dont believe me, try it and use your peripheral vision to look at the picture.
