      New to me, yes. Long story. The M9P is a long term loan from Leica; I'm now an Akademie instructor and ambassador. The Noctilux was just until my own lens arrived, it's gone home now.

      Not really, no. It's not the DoF or focusing, but the 1m near focus limit and sheer weight of the thing- nearly 800g!

      Can I ask what kind of strap that is? It looks nice on an M and I'm trying to find something nice looking for mine (which is only an M4-P...but why not put a decent strap on it anyway? :)
