OK, the whole "Mr. Brightside" job
is really amazing!! Is this double exposure
or working with layers in Photoshop? If it's
the first one, Katterina must be so jealous that someone is as good
as she is... :)

Thank you all! I guess I have to keep playing
with that camera and see what else I can get
out of it...:)
@rapakousis.k
It is a lomo splitcam film toy camera. It
splits the frame into two halfs and you can
multi expose each side. No Photoshop layers. Katterina has nothing to be jealous about. Her
extraordinary work is totally different in
aesthetics and execution. We are talking
about completely different things here. The
only thing in common here is film and
photography. Photography is no contest...

OK, first of all thanks for the tip about the
photos! It seems like a fascinating
procedure...
Secondly, surely Katterina is amazing in double exposure shots, but my
point was that you are showing us something
that has the same level of quality and for
that we thank you...
Thirdly, photography is a contest but not in the regular way: we all
try to get better for the pleasure of us and other people (and not in the egoistic way
that other contest are made...)
Have a nice day... :)

What appeals to our personal taste has
nothing to do with quality as an external
absolute figure. It goes so much beyond us...
Thank you for your kind words.
Photography puts us in a contest against
ourselves. We are definitely doing it for our
pleasure and only! The pursue of confirmation
that we did well, is sure exciting but also
an obstacle to go further than we are. We
want people enjoy our work and applause, but
mostly we amuse ourselves, selfish as that
may sound...
have a nice day too Kosta...

"damn!!! how come I didn't think of that?") If you look
closer, though, you'll see that half of
minas' photostream is in my faves :-))))

Fantastic shot. I'd never even heard of a
split-shot camera until this thread. I've
seen double-barrelled cameras; didn't realize
that this is what the effect would be.

you took the best out of your cheap split
lomo
at a first glance it may looks like a
reflection in a pond but once you realised
what it really is, it's just 'wow'
