Finishing a project that's been on the needles for quite a while. Used up some leftovers from the Rivel Cardigan.

Raveled

Bought an XL tshirt from Banana Republic on clearance, and then using this basic idea, turned it into a skirt. It's super comfy and I love it. I've been on the prowl for super large men's tshirts in clearance aisles now.

Needed an extra layer of warmth on the way home from the yarn store, so I yoinked a sweater in Reynold's Whiskey (which is discontinued), and that would probably not fit anyone else who works at the shop.

I love Whiskey.

Went to find myself a US 9 16" circular and found:

1) that I had been inconsistent with the placement of needles (before the tab vs. behind the tab), and
2) that I didn't have a 16" US 9. *headdesk*

It's all pretty and organized now, so hopefully I can keep it that way. Also logged all the needles into the Ravelry chart while I was at it.

It's grayscaled out so as to not compromise the new color, but I've just finished a sweater for the Lorna's Laces booth at TNNA. Worked up my Rivel Cardi in their new Sportmate yarn, which is really lovely.
