Mont-Saint-Bruno. Taken from a moving car on route 116 in the direction of Montréal. The photo was very dark. It was lightened and the colours were accentuated with Picasa2. Parc National du Mont-Saint-Bruno

Mont-Saint-Bruno is a mountain about 15 minutes from my hometown in the Parc National du Mont-Saint-Bruno in the Montérégie. There are trails, ponds, lakes and an alpine ski centre in this National Park.

Le Mont-Saint-Bruno dans le Parc National du Mont-Saint-Bruno en Montérégie est à environ 15 minutes de chez moi. Il y a des sentiers, des étangs, des lacs et un centre de ski alpin dans ce Parc National.

Saturday, June 9 2007, in late afternoon (4 to 7pm), I walked for three hours straight on the mountain. It was a perfect day with perfect weather.

Samedi, le 9 juin 2007, en fin d'après-midi (de 16h à 19h), j'ai marché pendant trois heures sans arrêt. C'était une journée parfaite avec une température parfaite.

Thank you!!! I am surprised at the reaction to this photo! It was taken on the road back from Mont Saint-Hilaire on September 27. I was in a moving car, the photo was dark and ruined so I strongly edited the photo in Picasa. It is not natural but art is art! I am glad you like it.

Merci!!! Je suis étonnée de la réaction à cette photo! C'était en revenant du Mont Saint-Hilaire le 27 septembre. L'auto était en mouvement, la photo était sombre et gâchée alors je l'ai beaucoup modifiée dans Picasa. Ce n'est pas naturel mais l'art c'est l'art! Je suis contente qu'elle vous plaît.

in 1995 I did more than 4000 Km by car, going from Montreal to Burlington, Boston (Horse's Neck Beach actualy), Halifax, and Montreal again, all by car, all alone, visiting people, some of them I only knew from letters or phone calls; visiting them to know them in person and to thank you for the info and help they provided for my PhD; it was a great voyage; this photo reminds me those long days driving
