Fire: Disaster in the city

very brave!! salute!

This is a seen from the fire incident that occurred today. Houses are being destroy, some people are left home less. And still I can feel the heat of the flame.
Peace for the families suffering from this tragedy.

Man this is hot stuff ... this is really beautiful. poor garage owner and poor people from there. I wish i could help that poor garage owner ... he spent millions i think its time to start another NGO that helps the victims of such disasters and raise funds to help them... sigh :( and i am glad you arent suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning

I just came from the site.. still smoke is there. i guess about 6-5 house got damaged due to this fire. :-|

A very tragic incident: Given the fact that almost all Malé residential blocks are interconnected with apartments, houses and a verity of businesses; a fire of this magnitude has long been proven to be devastating. It's high time to think positively to relocate all industrial category businesses, vulnerable to accident or high-risk hazardous business out of residential neighborhoods. Today, no lives were lost. What about in a future incident? Can anyone predict?

This is a great shot! I saw the smoke while I was at the traffic light next to fizzes. I stood there stunned and captivated by the beauty of the spiraling smoke and then I realized that people could be in serious danger and felt guilty cause I still thought the smoke was amazingly beautiful.
However n3m6 I don't agree with you cause we aren't marveling at the fact that people are getting hurt but the fact that the flames do look gorgeous and this picture is Brilliantly captured too.
