Here's the sconce with the rest of the wall stuff. Ikea curtains, ebay mirror. i think the sconce needs more gold.

Finally, some photos of the love-nest!!! Did you rub--n-buff, or ?? (Nevermind, I just saw your tags!) I think they look awesome, especially hung together! They look small in the photo, but they're not, are they? The wall paint treatment looks awesome!

Hey, thanks Carol. Oh wow, gold foil would be really cool. That would probably take it up to the same shine level as the mirror above it. They look pretty equally shiny here, because of the flash, but in reality the sconce is more low-key.

For the walls I also bought a metallic gold glaze, but thank God I did a tester board first! At most angles it just looked dirty, but at certain angles it turned into a big blinding sheen across the whole wall. LOL Good grief. What I'd really like to come up with is some sort of gold drizzle. It'll probably stay like this for quite awhile, though.

Thanks CB! The bedding is goldish and there's a glut of the cool Ikea pillows (I think we overdid it a tad). The main colors in the room are red, gold, brown and plum. I'll take more wide-angled photos after I make the bed. ;-)
