The cover is metallic silver with a diamond punch-cut revealing swinging a colorful abstract photo. Within the inner sleeve are some of the best songs of the bachelor pad era. Superfluous stereo effects, experimental drum loops and brassy horns. Truly a perfect package for cads of any generation.

This one's a real mystery from the late 50's. Are these the same Gospelettes that created killer soul singles in the late 60's? Is Frances Moore in this photo? Or an earler version? And if they're different, who are they and what became of them? Are these women from Missouri or Mississippi? And what's the story behind the Open Door Missionary Fellowship? The production on this record is very simple and unadorned. But there are a few songs that seem to channel Frankie Lymon. To my ears this is a very early iteration of what eventually became known as Soul. Can anyone help?
